I am a training coordinator for a Chemical Support organisation based in West Yorkshire. Part of our business is to coordinate and host training events specifically targeted towards chemical and related industries within the UK. Whilst we are quite new (3 years old) we have seen a huge down turn in the ammount of delegates we are managing to attract to our training.

Its all well and easy to say the training which we offer is either not to standard or that we are offering the wrong training. These are two views which we have investigated among our industry community. All feedback has been positive if not glowing. Quality, cost effective, user friendly and most of all relevant. The common explaination for the downturn is lack of resourses to provide anything that is not essential.

Is it just the chemical industry or is it everyone? Has anyone managed to overcome the financial barriers of delegate generation?
