Survey: Do you engage in training and if not, why not?

pp_default1

Just under two thirds of practitioners regularly or occasionally undertake training, work towards qualifications or carry out any form of continuing professional development, according to a recent poll by The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.

But while the figure appears promising, the Insitute, which is focusing on CPD this year due to the introduction of automatic pensions enrolment and HM Revenue & Custom‘s Real Time Information rules, would like to obtain a greater understanding of attitudes towards learning and development among professionals who work in HR, payroll, finance and accounting.

As a result, it has come up with a survey to explore why people may choose not to engage in training and working towards qualifications on a regular basis as well as how many opportunities they are presented with to do so by their employer.
