Jobpartners launches mid-range ActiveRecruiter Business Edition

pp_default1

Recruitment and talent management software developer Jobpartners has released a new version of its ActiveRecruiter system. Designed as a web-based “on demand” application, the Business Edition of ActiveRecruiter handles every step of the recruitment process from defining a position and posting the vacancy to online job boards to hiring the candidate and managing their development.

The new version is being packaged especially for organisations with up to 5,000 employees, explained Eric Genet, vice president for small and medium business at Jobpartners.

“It’s a full engineering of our existing enterprise platform, but we had to make different assumptions for smaller organisations. It had to be flexible, but easy to use for customers. It’s a bit more limited because we don’t allow any customisation. Everything is driven by point and click wizards;” he said.

The first rollout of ActiveRecruiter Business Edition will cater for HR managers who want to automate the recruitment process and cost £100 per user per month, with a minimum 12 month commitment. A second package, due in the new year, will include cheaper licences for line managers to support on-boarding, performance management and appraisals.

“With this tool we want to replace the indirect interaction between managers and HR,” Genet said.

The return on investment for the package would be supported by reduced recruitment costs, he argued. “With recruitment costs typically running at £500 per position, this solution is very cheap. We anticipate organisations will be able to reduce their expenses by 60% by shifting from agencies to corporate-based recruitment.”
