I have worked in the social care and charity sector for 25 years enabling people to make choices in their lives and move towards their goals. Developing, managing, and improving services which make a difference to individuals and communities. I have worked across a variety of services including Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Learning Disability, and Young People.
During my career, I have managed high profile, complex contracts and dispersed staff teams. Working through periods of rapid and extreme change/growth, supporting staff through changes and working with board and senior leadership team to develop and implement strategy. Throughout I feel staff well-being and employee engagement are key to gaining buy in from all, continued performance and reduction in absence, presenteeism and stress. This led to increased interest and expertise in this area.
