I am the founder of Rungway, a platform that empowers employees to give and seek advice on work and life challenges. I started the company after seeing an opportunity for new technology to offer personalised support for those needing fast, relevant career advice. I believe that I wouldn't have achieved my career milestones if I hadn't sought out insights and short-cuts from people outside my personal network. Starting my career in a male-dominated (trading floor) environment meant female role models were few and far between. As well as getting Rungway off the ground, I serve as a non-executive director and Senior Independent Director of Aberdeen Asset Management, and as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee for the insurance company Amlin. I am also a Trustee for the Girls Day School Trust Previously, I was a Board Member of UBS Investment Bank, holding several global leadership positions and winning multiple industry awards for innovation between 2001-2009.
