John has 30 years experience working within global organisations. The last 15 years have been at Board level covering Marketing, Strategy, Communications, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Product Development, Key Account Sales and International Development.
Operated at Board level of GeoPost and Managing Director of DPD, Europe’s No. 2 parcel network. During the last 5 years he was instrumental in driving 5 consecutive years of triple market growth in international business and led the growth of “2-C” from less than 10% of business to more than 30% of business.
Throughout his successful career, John has had numerous opportunities to work with each of the major consultancies. One consultancy stood apart from the others, DPI (Decision Processes International) – possibly the best kept secret in Europe. In his role as Executive Vice President for the Geopost Group, John worked closely with DPI during 2005, 2008 and again in 2011. DPI’s involvement was instrumental in re-shaping the strategic thinking and direction of the organisation and resulted in the creation of three tipping points that transformed the vision and success of the business.
In 2013 an opportunity to forge a relationship with DPI presented itself to John. To quote the Victor Kiam experience: “he liked it so much that he bought the company”, the European arm to be precise.
