I think the best way that can avoid failure the most specifically running a startup is to create something unique and valuable for the people.

Products, services, apps could be similar from different companies. And there would be the market leaders. But a David can outperform the Goliath is through the loopholes. It's why we learn SWOT and PEST analysis.

How can an employee claim expenses after 4 years? While there is already an expense policy you created. I think this can be a lesson for you in evaluating your expenses policy to avoid misunderstanding.

You can prevent employees from doing expense fraud and late claim by using expenses tracker app and facilitate your employees with MasterCard for companies instead of putting their money first in employee expenses. You must be firm in deciding that the expenditure is too long that it is no longer valid for the claim.
