Just wondering if we do some of this naturally? So for example, ten minutes in the sauna - always helps me totally relax and clear my mind - but is this the same as being mindful? I am just wondering if there are ways of building this into our daily routines without actually meditating formally ....
Thanks Jan, great synopsis. I attended the Summit too and agree with comments about British neuroscientists. Would love to hear any other views from readers who also attended.
I guess that telling is a habit for managers too - so perhaps some coaching for them to help them ask a question rather than go down the more established pathway of telling might help.
Interesting article. Another technique might be labeling or naming the emotion. Somehow through doing this it tends to take some of the emotional charge out of the feeling.

Really interesting article - and surprising that changing our mindset to "interruption alert" helps us focus our attention.
I was also wondering if age has an impact? Was there any more information in the study about the demographic of the groups?
