Dr Jo Burrell is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience as a clinician, trainer, coach and wellbeing consultant. She is Director of Ultimate Resilience, along with co-founder, Dr Felicity Baker. Since 2013, they have supported employers across public, private and charitable sectors to create psychologically safe workplaces and resilient staff teams.
Winners of the award for Best Evidence Based-based Wellbeing and Resilience Training Provider at the 2021 GHP News Fitness & Nutrition Awards, Jo and Felicity are committed to providing workplace wellbeing solutions that are grounded in robust research and theory. Their Skills-based model of personal resilience, published in the Journal of Occupational and Organisational Psychology in January 2021, informs all their training and coaching services. This model sets out the full range of skills that are proven to build resilience and provides psychologically informed guidance on how to achieve lasting behaviour change.
Keen to support organisations through the changes that have occurred due to the Covid pandemic, Ultimate Resilience have introduced a set of new services. These include bespoke training sessions, large group webinars and wellbeing survey/strategy development. For individuals seeking help to overcome stress and build resilience, a new online course has also recently become available.
