Training evaluation for employee assistance/outplacement programme

As a part of the report I am writing for college. I looking at if we should have a training evaulation in a counselling as well workshop for outplacement programme.

Can any one tell me what are the pros and cons? And if they have such evaulation form for counselling could they email me a copy to look at?
