UK’s most prestigious business accolade: The Queen’s Awards

The UK’s most prestigious business accolade is now available:The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2005.

Digby Jones, Director General of the CBI, says all successful businesses, regardless of size or sector, should consider applying for an Award:

“The Queen’s Awards play a vital role in championing exceptional achievements and advances in all areas of British business. I believe the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are something all UK companies should aspire towards. It’s a marvellous scheme for encouraging and rewarding business success and best practice.”

A Queen’s Award provides a business with the royal seal of approval commending a company’s drive and expertise.

Previouis winners seemed to have achieved direct benefits to their business competitiveness as a result of using the queens emblem in their marketing.

Recruitment firm Grafton Recruitment International is one company which knows all about the value of The Queen’s Awards. It won an Award for International Trade in 2003. Co Founder, Ken Belshaw, comments:

“Winning this prestigious Award has opened up many, many doors for us. Our Queen’s Awards certificate features in the reception area of all of our 48 offices around the world and we are now referred to as an Award winning recruitment agency.”

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise can be awarded in one or more of three categories – International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
