eeawards_2

Following on from the success of the UK employee engagement awards, which will announce its winners in January 2015, we've teamed up with the EE Awards to bring the same program of recognition and celebration to America.

The EE Awards will celebrate the best small and big businesses North America has to offer – the game changing, forward-thinking companies that are doing things differently to create an engaging and rewarding working environment and drive company performance.

The awards will open for entries on January 22, 2015 and close on April 01, 2015, to be judged by an panel including myself, Laura Temple of SABMiller and best selling engagement authors Karin Volo and Andrew Savitz. More judges will be announced in the coming weeks.

The winners will then be announced at a gala awards dinner in New York City during June, 2015 which will follow a world-class Employee Engagement conference during the day. The conference will provide practical engagement advice for everyone from CEOs to line managers.

The conference will also showcase some of the finalist case studies and bring together a community of Employee Engagement professionals that wish to learn more and share their experiences.

Matt Manners, Founder of the The Employee Engagement Awards, said:

“There is great work being done all over North America to better engage with employees and improve business performance. However, there are many businesses that can still do a lot more, so we want to recognise, champion and showcase those trail blazers that are leading the way. We can’t wait to start receiving entries in January. HRZone.com will provide significant outreach to it's 90,000 members by promoting the awards, sharing best-in-class work, advice and reports throughout the entry process and conference.”

Susan Hunt Stevens, Founder & CEO of WeSpire & Conference Chair, said:

“With research showing only 30% of employees are engaged at work, we know how critical it is for organizations to rethink their strategies for engaging employees.  Our goal is to create the best employee engagement conference in North America that features leading innovators in the field and in-depth, real-world case studies from companies of all sizes.  This event will be a unique opportunity for business leaders to further their knowledge on what will engage and inspire the workforce of the future.”
