An employee has submitted a holiday request which will mean she takes holiday with her children during school term time. I am aware she is not allowed to take her child out of school without their permission, but she may do this anyway.

I object to her doing this on personal moral grounds, but am I entitled to stop her booking the holiday from a HR point of view? I feel it goes against our policy of acting in a socially responsible manner.

Our company has no relationship to any aspect the education system.
