I am currently working as an Assistant Sales Manager for a retail travel company. I have some experience in HR related areas – interviewing, training, disciplinary procedures, dealing with sensitive employee issues etc. – but no formal HR experience or qualifications.
I want to change career and move into HR. From looking at previous posts on this board and others it looks like my best bet will be to take a backwards step in the short term into an entry level HR position which will give me experience and also allow me to begin CIPD studies, either self funded or via a new employer.
I am happy to look at temporary positions initially if necessary, and am looking for a position in or near to Croydon. Can anyone suggest a good HR recruitment agency which will be able to look at my situation creatively?
