HR Graduate Schemes

HR Graduate Schemes

Didn't find your answer?

I am an undergraduate studying for a BSc in Human Resource Management, on course to achieve a 1st/2:1. I am also about to complete my 15 month HR internship at one of the worlds largest energy companies, at which point I will return to university to complete my degree.

I have started to search for an HR graduate scheme for 2012 and was looking for any advice on organisations that offer particularly good ones.

What good looks like to me is: A variety of business facing and central HR placements, international exposure and support/ sponsorship for further professional development e.g. CIPD Charter ship.

Any suggestions or advice would be hugely appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance.

But I have met a lot of successful people over the past three years who specialised in HR while on the M&S graduate scheme. No idea about details or how you get on it, but you should look into it. Anyone got some better advice?

Whitbread plc (who own Premier Inn, Costa, Beefeater etc) run a great HR graduate scheme and should be recruiting in 2012; I was their first HR graduate on the scheme run back in 2009 and have had some fantastic development through varied placements and CIPD support. Website is http://www.whitbread.co.uk/whitbread/careers/graduateprogramme/graduatehrscheme.html

Hope this helps
