I would very much appreciate to hear your advice regarding the following situation.
My boss has proposed to a colleague and I (the admin staff) to work part-time from 1st July, to avoid redundancies. The deadline to give our answer is 11th June but we both already replied. The admin assistant has accepted and I (HR/Office Manager) have refused. Is the deadline for my boss’s decision the 11th June or from the date of our reply? What reasons can I give him to encourage to reply rapidly.
