Im looking for some advice any would be really appreciated.

I have been working for a company for just under 10 years and just before christmas
i went off work sick, due to a death in the family and then my father turned acohol
dependant and then i was off work with stress and depsression and have been off
work until now with doctors notes provided every 2 weeks, i have seen the works
occuptional health and have also been attending absense review meetings with work
but missed the last one as i felt that i had nothing different to tell them but didnt let
them know that i wasn’t attending.

On Wednesday i recieved a letter through the post saying that the company i worked for
had terminated my contract on the grounds of capability and that i had 5 days to appeal
which is until tuesday of next week. I believe that no disciplinary procedures were followed
prior to my dismissal and also i wasn’t asked to attend any capability hearings. Do you
think thats i have ground for appeal and do you think that this is worth pursueing ?
