Calculation of an ET award

Where an employee resigns and leaves immediately. Subsequently wins a case for constructive dismissal.
How is the award calculated in terms of notice period / benefits / basic award / compensatory award / other ?

Apart from the basic award (redundancy payment) it is based on net loss. The key is when the indidual got a job or would be expected to get a job and at what rate and what they have done to mitigate their loss. In theory it is about restitution, in reality it is usually about punishment. It is largely a lottery although that is not what the textbooks say.
If I had more detail I could make more constructive suggestions.
