I'm looking to introduce a buddying system whereby those managers with a proven track record of engagement are linked up with those in need of support - on the back of our engagement survey. Any tips, hints ant tools gratefully received

Hi Michelle

as "support at work" tends to be included in most models of engagement, this would seem to be a sensible step.

However, research has shown that managers tasked with supporting individuals through poor performance issues become increasingly disengaged to the organisation.  So, if "support" is about less than optimum performance, you might want to set a time limit on for interaction between them.
