Motivating your employee can be more art than science. If you want to motivate employees, make them feel excited to come to work every day, and to spend time with you and each other. There are dozens of studies to support this, inside and outside of business life. If businesses want to maximize output and drive revenue, it is needed to get staff members working as effectively as possible and here are some techniques that will increase your chances of finding the right fuel:

Pleasant working atmosphere–  Employees spend a large chunk of  lives working in the office, so try to make the office look as friendly and appealing as possible. Like make sure the temperature in the office isn’t set to be too hot or too cold and have lots of natural light and position them next to windows.

Tell the importance of process- Explain the chain of events that are necessary to accomplish the big goals. Tell your employees “there are no small steps, only small thinking” .Its good idea to do an audit and clean out the cobwebs of your procedures.

Reward strong performance: Reward them in terms of extrinsic rewards – such as additional pay, benefits or opportunities for promotion – or intrinsic – through simple gratitude and recognition for a job well done. But ensure businesses need to ensure they do not over-stretch their budgets and create unrealistic expectations where pay and benefits are concerned.

Most powerful tool communication– Listen to them, have sincere respect for what they do and understand they have familiar as well. Communicate with them as often as possible.
