I have worked full time ever since I was 16, I am now 18. Through my time with the company I have had a few issues. I admit, it is not uncalled for I have been caught on my phone and using personal emails during work time.

Recently it has taken a turn for the worst, due to me not inviting everyone to a night out, a manager wanted to raise a grievance against me as when she sent email feedback to me about the night out and how they think a 'cool crew' is being made, I passed this on to members of the team. 

I was taken into a meeting with the manager and a HR representative, however, the decision was made to not raise any grievance in regards to this. I got absolutely no notes for this meeting and it was sprung on me and I was given no warning. 

Yesterday, a week or so after the above meeting took place, I got called in to a meeting with my line manager and the same HR representative. Apparently in the last meeting it was agreed that a search of my personal emails would take place, however, I do not recall this being said and have no notes to see this. They got approval from the HR director of the company to get permission to see all my emails. They got me into this meeting and asked my approval to look into my emails with me, I did not get anything to sign to confirm I agreed. I was advised this was an extremely confidential matter and I could not tell anyone else, which meant I could not get anyone in with me to support as it is always 2 against 1! They looked into a select few of my emails and seen a few conversations that were not work related and also an email where I forwarded on the email about the feedback I got over the night out claiming this to be childish and like school and being very petit, which everyone agrees. After this, they advised they will do a full investigation (still nothing to sign). They then asked me what they think they should do with me moving forward, I felt very uncomfortable as I did not have a clue about the disciplinary procedure that is followed. 

I then went out the meeting and went on lunch and quite rightly told my parents about the situation, they asked why they were being this petit, which I do agree. As I said I know I have done wrong, but there should be notes and advance notice on meetings as they always get thrown on me. This impacted my health, I was physically sick with worry and this has resulted to me getting singed off for 2 weeks with work related stress. Somebody please advise me this is not right?
