I have just started measuring absence within a manufacturing company and as one would expect the scores vary greatly. It would be helpful if anyone can share their experience of "typical" scores in a similar environment to give me something to benchmark our company against.

I first introduced the Bradford Factor to our manufacturing organisation in 1995 and would be happy to share experience and knowledge with you. We have 3 separate and distinct manufacturing divisions. Our system works on the basis of 'trigger points' that activate informal discussions or disciplinary action.
